This vintage Turkish pot features a classic amphora silhouette with a narrow 1' inch opening, twin loop handles, and an ovoid body that rests on a small foot. The decorative clay pot shows a natural matte surface with sunbaked terracotta tones, soft sand and warm ochre hues, and scattered charcoal marks that speak to long use. Subtle asymmetry and surface wear highlight the handmade character typical of authentic Turkish pottery. Pieces of this age are increasingly difficult to source, and we only receive them in very small batches, making each find special. Ideal as a sculptural accent or for dried stems.
